The Turtlefly
If you've ever seen a turtle gliding through the sea, you know that in the right environment, turtles can fly. We all can.
For me, life is about touching, like a butterfly, on the moments that inspire us and then breathing deeply.
The Writer
In 2007 I completed my MFA with the Stonecoast program through the University of Southern Maine, and I was fortunate to find a teaching job at a local college immediately after graduation. That environment, however, was not the perfect fit for me, and my restless wings began to flutter.
Currently, I teach English at a university in the countryside of southern China, and in my spare time, I travel to beautiful places, where I can sit on verandas, watch the breeze in the trees, and breathe.
